He is a seasoned entrepreneur with experience spanning 20 years working in software, Internet services, online media and telecom both in early-stage venture backed technology start-ups and publicly traded companies. Much of his work over the past decade has been focused on developing strategy, business models and go-to- market programs for companies competing in complex, technology driven markets.
He recently founded Speakerfile.com, a new online service which connects thought leaders with the global events industry. Since 2005 he has actively worked with startups at the MaRS Innovation Center in Toronto. Prior to this role, he founded Riverdale Partners, a strategy and marketing consultancy serving clients throughout North America in the media and technology sector. Since 2002, he has achieved notable success with senior leadership teams at organizations such as DoubleClick (Acquired by Google); Cognovision (Acquired by Intel); Digital Connexxions (Acquired by InfoUSA); Truition (Acquired by CDC Software); Postrank (Acquired by Google) and XPLANE Corporation (acquired by Dacchis Group).
He holds an MBA degree from Queen's University.
